Has this movie been finished and distributed to PBS? If not yet do you have an estimate of when distribution and a showing might happen?
My father and three of his brothers all fought in WWII. My father built roads in Burma. My one Uncle was at Normandy dropping off the soldiers onto the beach. Neither wanted to talk about their experiences to us kids. However, once my son was discharged from the Navy, he and my Dad had quite a chat. I have never been privy to that conversation. My father passed away at the ripe old age of 96. He lived with me, I was blessed by this, the last ten years of his life. I miss him every day.
